#14- Editing Practice Video Diary

Blog Post: Editing Video Diary

Video Transcript:

Hi, Hello, this is Lizette Nieves and this is my second video diary on my blog post for my AICE Media Studies Final Project. I'm making this video diary to document how I transport my videos from my camera to my computer and how I will be editing on my computer. Not only is the video being documented to explain the process of editing, but also to look back on when I'm having struggles with my final project editing.

Ok, to transport the video from my camera onto my computer you have to remove the SD card, which should be located right here. You just take it out and then on my computer there is a place to plug this in and the videos should come up straight away.

The insert is located right here on my computer, and you just put it in and it pops up.

Now all the photos and videos I took on my camera with this SD card are now on my computer. Now I'll go through and make files for the different photos and videos, like here I have photos and videos of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and then I have my project and my setting pictures and stuff. So, I will separate those into files and edit.

And here is an image of all the photos and videos loading up on my computer.

All the stuff from my camera are now on my computer, so now I can go in and these are the videos I took to practice editing and I will just select all of them and I will open with Movie Maker.

Here is a photo of what Movie Maker looks like with all of my selected videos loaded up on it .

My editing process (a speeded up clip of me editing the messing around clips).

Finding the song (a speeded up clip of me finding and downloading the song I wanted to use in my messing around video).

The final cut of the clips I edited in this video diary will be located on my blog post: [#12] Messing Around.
