#15- What setting should I do in my Final Cut?

   My final project overall narrative is a coming-of-age drama/comedy movie that follows a teen girl that is a senior in high school. 

  The drama film genre features real-life situations that create plot that is relatable to the audience. For a film about a teenage girl the locations where the action will take place are her home, school and other locations where teenagers would hang out such as friend's homes. 

  The typical setting for coming-of-age films are a small town and the action usually takes place in the characters home and school. My main character will be a high school student like the main characters of the films: Juno, Lady Bird and Edge of Seventeen. These films are all coming-of-age drama/comedy films.

  In my final project the main setting will be my main character's home and school. In the begging two minute sequence, which will be my final project, will take place in my main characters home and neighborhood. The characters in my narrative will be walking to school, however, in the beginning sequence the school won't be featured.

#26- Editing Process

September 21, 2023 Time: After filming/late afternoon   Today we finished filming. before the girls left I transported all of the footage to my computer. We were able to look over all the footage we took.

#24- Filming Day Two

September 21, 2023 Location: My House/ My Neighborhood Time: Mid-Late Afternoon   Today I filmed the rest, a majority, of my final project. I had my actors Karah and Reese drive out to the location of filming, which was my house and neighborhood.    Once they both arrived at my house, we began filming. However, we didn't go in the order of my script. Which it will still be able to edit them when I transport them to my computer by file name, even if they are out of order. I will write down the names of the files in the order I want them to go after each other when I edit.    We began filming the scenes with Karah and my mother (Aurora and her mother). We filmed a pan of Karah walking into the kitchen and grabbing an apple and the conversation between her character and her character's mother. My mother is not the best actress, but we got the shot after putting a note card with her lines in the sink for her. She was able to read off that and execute her role good. ...
