#18- Casting Process

I have such an eye for beauty I believe, I mean I am a photographer that dreams of making movies. I see the beauty in looking out my window of my car and seeing all the cows that pass by and think this could be a movie scene where a girl is looking out her window on a long drive home after her first year of college. She is sad that it is over and she is seeing this view with a different perspective than how she was seeing it on her way to college with the feelings of excitement. I also have this memory of when I was in Saint Augustine this past summer. I saw these two young women walking next to each other in the beautiful down town area and couldn't help think about how this would be a cute tracking shot in a movie. That being said, I think I know who I want to star in my final project.

My friend from school, Karah Little, would be perfect for my main character. She is very pretty and opinionated, I feel like she would resonate with my character I have created and would play her perfectly.

Here's a photo I took of Karah in a recent photo-shoot.

Another friend of mine from school, Reese Gardner, will be perfect for my other character. She is tall and has the edgy look to her, so I believe she would portray Josie very well and the way I want her to look and act.

Here's a silly photo of Karah and Reese together. I feel like they look so different yet balance each other perfectly. This is why I chose them to both be in my final project.

For my third character, Aurora's mother, I will use my mother. She agreed to acting in it when I asked her!
