#28- Posters (Advertisement Part One)

   Advertising is a big deal when it comes to any type of production of media. There are many ways to advertise media. 


 Poster are the main way to advertise, for example movies and/or video games. This will help to reach a major audience. People getting off the subway can see this poster, featured in the picture, and will be interested in watching the movie. Another example would be a video game poster in the window of a game shop in the mall. The mall attracts all different kinds of people. When someone see this poster they might be interested in playing the game or can tell their friends and family that enjoy playing video games. 

  Every movie usually has a poster. More my specific genre and themes, movies such as Juno and Lady Bird, feature their main character(s) in front of a backdrop or setting from the movie.

  There is a trend to use the characters name for the title. I chose not to do this because Aurora's name doesn't have much significance to the story. It does explain the characters personality better, she is seen as this princess by her family and she is very girly. That was how far my thoughts went when picking her name. "Who She Is" fits better because the story is all about her identity and coming-of-age.

  On the poster of the film, it will feature the title of the movie in big white letters centered over the head of my main character, Aurora. The list of actors names will be in the same font, but in a dark pink and smaller. They will be featured horizontally in the bottom of the poster. Aurora will take the center of the poster, and will feature Josie to the left of her with her arms crossed. She is a more closed off and edgy character. Her mother will be to the right of her with her hand on her hips and her father will stand behind her mother. Aurora and Josie will be in their outfits that they wore for my final project, and her mother as well. The backdrop of the poster will be a light pink.

September 21, 2023 Time: After filming/late afternoon   Today we finished filming. before the girls left I transported all of the footage to my computer. We were able to look over all the footage we took.

#24- Filming Day Two

September 21, 2023 Location: My House/ My Neighborhood Time: Mid-Late Afternoon   Today I filmed the rest, a majority, of my final project. I had my actors Karah and Reese drive out to the location of filming, which was my house and neighborhood.    Once they both arrived at my house, we began filming. However, we didn't go in the order of my script. Which it will still be able to edit them when I transport them to my computer by file name, even if they are out of order. I will write down the names of the files in the order I want them to go after each other when I edit.    We began filming the scenes with Karah and my mother (Aurora and her mother). We filmed a pan of Karah walking into the kitchen and grabbing an apple and the conversation between her character and her character's mother. My mother is not the best actress, but we got the shot after putting a note card with her lines in the sink for her. She was able to read off that and execute her role good. ...
